Happy New Year--2013!!

One of our New Years Day traditions with Greg's family is going sledding behind four-wheelers. This year we met at his sister's house for some fun in the snow and then (my favorite part) hot cocoa and Grandma's homemade chicken noodle soup.

 Ready for take-off!

Taking her little cousin Jason for a ride.
Megan finally worked up enough courage to go for a slow ride with Dad.
 Snow-surfing?
I loved watching the dogs try to keep up. They even jumped the line a couple of times!
Sure beats climbing up a mountain over and over!

Family Celebrations

.....And gifts with Stacy's side of the family.

Megan loved playing with all her cousins and especially seeing her newest baby cousin, Gracie.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning

On Christmas Eve we delivered dinner to a family, then went out to eat and to Temple Square to see the lights.

Megan was really happy about her toys, but for some reason she was especially excited about the orange in her stocking.

Can't forget our best pal!

'Tis the Season

 Our Tree
Ellie the Elf came to our house this month to help make sure we all stayed on the nice list.
Nativity program at our church Christmas party.
Megan took her angel part very seriously.

Christmas Dance Recital

December Misc.

A couple of years ago Greg started the tradition of making gingerbread cookies with Megan. This year they made them for her preschool class.

Another tradition--decorating gingerbread houses with cousins.

And a visit to Santa at the grocery store.

Greg's Birthday is December 6th and he always requests spice cake. We decorated the tree in the background with a special sports theme just for him.

Georgia Trip

For Thanksgiving we spent a week in Georgia visiting Greg's brother's family.
We got to see our niece be baptized.

We also got to watch our nephew's championship football game.

 Greg's parents came too.

Greg and his brother hitting a few balls at the backyard driving range.

Megan and her cousins collected all kinds of moss and pine needles to decorate their gazebo.
