November in a Nutshell

We hosted an early Thanksgiving dinner with my family. 

Megan was so excited for the first snow of the season that she jumped in bed with me in the morning and started begging me to take her outside to play. So I bundled her up and took her out to catch a few snowflakes on her tongue at 7:00 a.m., kicking myself for telling her to look out the window in the first place!

OCTOBER

Clifford is a special friend from Megan's preschool who got to spend the weekend having adventures with us. We took him to watch Dad coach football and he even braved going to the top of our roof.

 Most of October was taken over by the huge project of replacing our roof. Thankfully we had lots of help from family and friends!

Megan with one of her best friends before dance class the week of Halloween. I realized the other day that 4 of the 14 girls in her dance class are adopted, including this cute Cinderella:) It's been cool to be near so many families where adoption has been a wonderful blessing.

First Day of Preschool

August Re-Cap

Cousin time! We spent the weekend at a cabin with my family at the beginning of August.

 Megan's grandma made a fun fishing game for all the grandkids to play.

We went boating, golfing, played games, and watched the Olympics. Megan especially loved playing in the hot tub with her cousins.

One night Greg joined the neighborhood kids for some night-games in his brother's back yard. As you can see he was the King of the Hill and the life of the party.
