Our Letter

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. Though we may not understand all that you're going through, we respect and appreciate you for considering all of the options available to you and your child. We pray that you'll be comforted as you make important decisions at this time in your life.
About Our Family
We are currently a family of three – Greg, Stacy and our daughter Megan. Though we had planned to have multiple children, Heavenly Father had another plan for us. We've been blessed with one daughter, and hope to have another child join our family soon through adoption.
We live in a small town west of Salt Lake City. It's just far enough away from a big city to be in the country, but close enough that big city shopping is just an hour away – which comes in especially handy for Stacy. Greg works for a CPA firm and Stacy stays busy at home with Megan. We are an active family and enjoy traveling, being in the outdoors, hiking, going to the theatre, and volunteering in our community. Living in the country allows us to participate in working on our family’s cattle ranch, where we’re able to ride horses, chase cows, raise livestock and go four-wheeling. This kind of city/country arrangement allows us to enjoy the best of both worlds.
About Greg, written by Stacy
Greg grew up in a small town in Utah, the same town in which we now live. His time was split mostly between playing sports – baseball, football, wrestling, and working on his family’s cattle ranch. He played all three sports in high school and played baseball in college, which is where we met. He served an honorable mission in England and has served faithfully in a number of different callings before and during our marriage. I appreciate him so much for being a worthy priesthood holder in our home. Greg is a hard worker with strong leadership qualities and a certain charisma that makes people gravitate toward him. He is lovingly called ‘the big tease’ by his nieces and nephews and he lives life with a spirit of fun. Greg’s athletic abilities and knowledge have allowed him to be an asset to many in our community. He enjoys being involved with the youth baseball league in our town as well as a volunteer coach for the high school football team. Most of all Greg is an amazing husband and father. Since Megan was born she’s had him wrapped around her little finger and I love that he will stop whatever he is doing to play with her. He’s a big, strong man, but he’s tender with his girls and for that we love him.
About Stacy, written by Greg
Stacy grew up in Northern Utah as the second of nine children. A large family meant always being surrounded by others, and she still enjoys being around family. She is excited for Megan to experience the joys of being a big sister. Stacy was blessed with an incredible gift for nurturing children. She became a teacher because of her love for children and a desire to learn how to teach her own when they came along. She excelled as an elementary school teacher for five years before Megan was born. When we were still dating, I remember seeing her around children and being impressed about how great of a mother Stacy would be. It has been one of the greatest joys of my life to see her exceed my expectations as she mothers Megan. Stacy is smart, sweet, kind, loving, and is very determined and driven. She enjoys reading, traveling, running, shopping, going to movies, playing board games, and being together as a family.
About Megan, written by her biggest fans – Greg & Stacy
We have been blessed with one beautiful little girl. She teases, loves to chase, play games, enjoys reading, and has even taught Greg how to play dolls. She is all girl, enjoys dance and can usually be seen twirling around our house in one of her favorite tutus. She is truly the joy of our lives. Megan inherited Stacy’s sweet, enthusiastic, happy, sensitive disposition. Yet somehow she managed to inherit a bit of Greg’s stubborn persistence and is definitely not afraid to stand up for herself amongst her friends. She is smart and loves to spend time with cousins, babies, other children and we have no doubt that she will make an excellent big sister.
In closing
The Lord has truly blessed our family, but we still feel like someone is missing. As you look at all of the options for you and your child, we hope you'll consider adoption. If that is what you decide is best for you and your child, we hope you'll consider us as adoptive parents. Please look through the rest of our profile, and contact us soon so we can get to know you as well.
